Marathons in June

June marathons chase cooler air. Grandma's Marathon runs along Lake Superior into Duluth, Anchorage's Mayor's Marathon lands near the solstice, and mountain towns across the West host high-altitude races. Expect early start times and plan for heat. Coastal and northern courses are the safest bet for a fast time.‍
