Marathons in December

December closes the year with some fast courses. The California International Marathon runs net downhill from Folsom into Sacramento, the Tucson Marathon descends through the Sonoran Desert, and Honolulu has no time limit, making it a favorite for first-timers. It's a good month for one last shot at a PR before the calendar resets.
