LAKE OSWEGO– Ready for some adventure?!?! Well, you’re in luck! Join the City of Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation Department for an epic adventure with the 5k obstacle run, Howl at the Moon. Navigate 3.1 miles of natural terrain and make your way through challenging obstacles, including a tire crawl, plank walk, slip n’ slide, mud pit and more. Then, celebrate your victory on the course and have a heck of a good time at the Barn Bash after-party! Get a little country and rock out to Wild West tunes. Plus, enjoy tasty bites and brews from local vendors including Ancestry Brewing, Two Guys and a Grill and Upstar Nutrition.
Participation is open to participants 10 years and older. Whether you’re a casual runner/walker or elite athlete, this run is for you! Race is not timed and participants may elect to skip an obstacle (or do it twice!). $45 for adults; $25 for youth. Team discount also available.
The journey kicks off at 4:30pm on July 27th at historic Luscher Farm. Course is open from 5- 8pm; Barn Bash continues until 9:30pm. For additional information and registration, visit www.howlatthemoonlo.org.
