2008 RACE RESULTS POSTED HERE

The Olympic Distance Triathlon and Duathlon are part of the Pacific Crest weekend of Multisport events, which over the last eight years has become known as the jewel of athletic events in the Northwest, and has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation. Additionally, this is the first Olympic distance triathlon to ever take place in Central Oregon.

With an anticipated 4,000 + athletes plus family and friends, the festivities will begin on Friday, June 27th and end on Sunday, June 29th. Included will be a Health & Fitness Expo, live entertainment, food booths, beer garden, athlete dinners, and much more.

Competitive events include: Half Iron Triathlon, Endurance Duathlon, Marathon, Half Marathon, Olympic Distance Triathlon & Duathlon, Kid’s Splash Pedal-n-Dash, 10K & 5K Run/Walks, and Kid's 1-mile & 1/2-mile Dash.. The Pacific Crest Weekend is an experience you won’t want to miss! Bring your family and enjoy this beautiful destination resort with activities including horseback riding, fishing, white water rafting, two golf courses, 26 tennis courts, 30+ miles of bike paths, swimming, wildlife, and more.

The event is expected to SELL OUT, so it is advised you register as soon as possible. There is only enough room for 1,000 total bikes in the triathlon & duathlon. You don't want to miss out on this phenomenal event!

Olympic Duathlon - 28mi Bike/10k Run

Both the triathlon and duathlon begin at the north boat ramp at Gull Point on Wickiup Reservoir in the heart of the Cascade Mountain Range and finish at Sunriver Resort in sunny Central Oregon, just outside of Bend

Entry Fee Includes: Commemorative shirt, finisher medal, ChampionChip Timing, live entertainment throughtout the day, awards, plus lots of fun and camaraderie.

You can also register online or print a downloable entry form - CLICK HERE. Registration will be available at Packet Pickup on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. - if space is available.

CONFIRMATIONS: confirmation booklets with cards will be mailed on 6/9 to those registrations have been received. Participant confirmations will also be posted on the www.racecenter.com website for all mail-in and online entries. For those registrations received after 6/1 may not receive a confirmation card/booklet in the mail and are to refer to the on-line confirmation list.

PACKET PICKUP
Participants can register and/or pick up their race packets on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or on Saturday, from 1:00pm till 5:00 p.m. in the Athlete Village.

BIKE SHIPPING: Those athletes who wish to ship their bikes ahead of time should contact Bend Bike 'N Sport in Bend, OR and arrange for payment terms and proper instruction. Bend Bike 'N Sport will also require that all athletes shipping their bikes sign a release that waives the shop of any liability regarding the condition of the bicycle when it arrives. *Bend Bike 'N Sport will also be on hand at the Pacific Crest Sports Expo with products and accessories and will be fitting attendees into Ironman Wetsuits.

Bike-to-Run (T2) Transition Open (Three Rivers Elementary School)

6:00 a.m.

Body marking at Bike/Run (T2) Transition begins

6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Buses leave from Bike/Run Transition (T2) to transport participants and spectators to Gull Point (T1)

6:00 a.m.

Swim-to-Bike Transition (T1) opens

8:40 a.m.

All Triathletes/Duathletes must be checked in at the lake

Pre-race briefing at the swim start
