The
Lake Oswego Women's Club and Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation
are proud to present the 36th Annual Lake Run: A fundraiser for
needy women and children in the Portland area.
Family
Fun Festival - Join us for the
11th Annual Family Fun Festival Saturday, May 12th from 8:00 am
to 1:00 pm at Millennium Plaza Park (race finish venue). Bring
your friends & family and enjoy the fun, food, entertainment,
crafts, info booths, children's activities, and lots more.
SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS and BRIDGE THE GAP
This year we are partnering with the Lake Oswego School Foundation
to help raise money for the schools in the district. You can help
by participating in the Kids Dash or by making a donation when
registering. All of the proceeds are going to the LO Schools Foundation.

Adult beverages, food and music will be available.
Packet pickup and registration will also take place on the morning
of the race at Millennium Plaza Park starting at 6:30am and ending 15 minutes prior to the
start of each race.
PLEASE NOTE: Race fees increase
5/11 and DOR to the following: 12K-$50.00, 5K-$35.00, Kids'
Dash-$20.00. (T-shirts are included in the entry fees received
by 5/11 - quantities and sizes limited for late entries.)
The
event will be timed using the MyLaps timing system - with the
chip in the bib (do not need to be returned). Results will be
posted at the finish party and online at: www.racecenter.com

addition to our annual Family Festival with kids activities,
face painting, slide, sponsor booths and more, this year we
also have adult beverages, food and music!
The
5K Run/Walk and 12K Lake Run begin at the intersection of State
Street and Foothills Road (just opposite the fountain below
Millennium Plaza Park). Both events end at Millennium Plaza
Park at the intersection of 2nd and Evergreen Streets in Lake
Oswego.

12K Run:
(an accurately measured course using USAT&F standards) -
a challenging, scenic loop through beautiful residential areas
with stunning views of Oswego Lake. Due to city restrictions
the 12K event is for runners only.
5K Run/Walk: (an accurately measured course using USAT&F
standards) - a scenic route that circles Lakewood Bay and magnificent
lake front neighborhoods.
1/2-Mile Kids' Dash: For children age 11 and under. Emphasis
is on non-competitive, family fun.
From
I-5 take exit 292 at Highway 217 and travel toward Lake Oswego.
At Boones Ferry Rd., turn left and continue to Country Club
Rd. Veer right at Country Club Rd. (This road becomes "A" Ave
at 10th St.) Continue to 1st and "A" Ave. The entrance to the
Family Fun Festival will be on the right.
Finish
line and course photography will be provided by Penrose Photography.
Proofs will be on the website by Tuesday evening following the
event (www.finishshots.com).
You can then order photos directly from Penrose Photography.
Volunteers are needed to help with all facets
of the race and are welcome to help out as individuals or as a
group. If you are interested in volunteering for the Lake Run
