Portland’s Foot Traffic Flat Set to Open Registration – Limited Entries Available

From Press Release – Registration will open for the Foot Traffic Flat Half & Full Marathon at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2010. The cap has been reduced for 2011, and is expected to fill to capacity quickly. The preliminary TRI NorthWest Triathlon and Duathlon rankings for the 2010 season are now posted online. Congratulations to the athletes from across the Pacific Northwest who competed in this year’s rankings. If you have any questions or feel that your overall rankings score is incorrect, please email Jon Atherton prior to Friday, November 26. Inaugural Holiday Nighttime Run to Support Portlanders in Need

Portland’s Shalane Flanagan Takes Second at the 2010 ING NYC Marathon

From USATF Press Release – In her highly anticipated debut over 26.2 miles, Shalane Flanagan on Sunday turned in the highest place finish by an American woman at the ING New York City Marathon in 20 years, placing second in 2:28:40 and winning the 2010 USA Women’s Marathon Championship.
