Mother’s Day 5K

On Mother’s Day Sunday, May 8, 2022, Parenting Now is hosting its 5th Annual Mother’s Day 5K at Alton Baker Park. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join Parenting Now for one of our favorite annual fundraisers. The 5K course travels through the flat and scenic Alton Baker Park paths along the Willamette River.

Now in its fifth year, Parenting Now’s Mother’s Day 5K is growing in popularity. The Marvelous Littles Fun Run is returning, which is the perfect way to kick off the morning. The Fun Run is free and registration is not required. There will be a free Squishtivities play area for children aged 2.5 – 5 years old, which includes sensory activities and messy play. In addition, medals will be presented to the top two overall male and female winners in each age group. Plus, medals for the top two mamas and papas who are running with strollers!

“The Mother’s Day 5K is a wonderful, healthy way to spend Mother’s Day with your family,” says Parenting Now Executive Director Lynne Grilley. “I am so excited for our 5th year! It’s going to be a great time.”
