ChiRunning®-Based Group Training Group for Timberline Half Marathon: Free Informational Session

Join Alice Peters Diffely, ChiRunning® Certified Master Instructor and owner of Portland’s Ease of Motion, Inc., for an online informational event introducing the Ease of Motion Training Project, which will host a ChiRunning-based training community to prepare for the 6/9/24 Timberline Half Marathon, a beautiful trail race around Timothy Lake on Mt. Hood. ChiRunning® provides a mindful approach to improving running technique in order to run with greater ease and less risk of injury. Whether you’re new to ChiRunning® or are already experienced with the technique, learn how following the formula of Form-Distance-Speed, incorporating the principle of Gradual Progress into your training, and practicing ChiRunning®’s Hills & Trails techniques can help prepare you for a successful and transformative experience. Sign up now for this free online event! (Training will be based on the ChiRunning® Intermediate Half Marathon Training Plan. The 12-week training period will begin in mid-March, with hosted group runs and long runs on the trails of Portland’s Forest Park. Beginning in mid-January, Alice will offer ChiRunning® form focus sessions at a local track, and will also provide a series of Yoga for Runners videos for home use.
