Welcome to Capital City Marathon, one of the best marathons in the Northwest. Located in fun and friendly Olympia, Washington, we feature a beautiful course with rolling hills, enthusiastic volunteers, a festive post-race event with food, music, massage and swag. We are a Boston Marathon qualifier with a loyal following of marathon veterans, newcomers and everyone in between.
Capital City Marathon Association is committed to hosting a race in 2021, but we are also committed the health and safety of our community. Due to the uncertain nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we don’t yet know if the race can be conducted in person in some form on the planned dates of May 15 and 16, 2021 or if it will need to be virtual over a longer time frame.
Capital City Marathon Association (CCMA) is a non-profit all volunteer organization.
While we strive to keep event dates accurate, due to Covid be aware dates may change or events may be cancelled before we can reflect such here. Please visit the organizers website to confirm dates before making plans.
Events displaying location and “virtual” are likely offering both options for 2021.
