Brainy Day Trail Run

The Brainy Day 5K was created in 2007 when Brainy Day founder, Veronica Constantine, had her own hydrocephalus diagnosis and decided to raise money in an effort to help those also affected by this affliction. The mission was to not only help families, but also create research grants for medical professionals looking to end hydrocephalus.

In 2015, after donating nearly $75,000 to local organizations that shared the similar mission, the Brainy Day Fund was established. This helped Brainy Day gain even more awareness and the event grew over the next few years.

In February of 2022, the Brainy Day Trail Run became part of Tris4Health‘s family of events, which will continue the mission that started all those years ago. Now hosted at Mosquito Creek Trails, the event offers 5K, 10K and 10 Mile distances plus a 1/2 mile fun run for all level of runners.
