Inaugural ‘Run the Links 5K’ Pairs World-Class Golf Event With a Run for Charity

From Press Release –

In the middle of putting on a huge world-class golf tournament, LPGA Safeway Classic tournament director Rob Neal is finalizing details for the Inaugural Safeway Classic Run the Links 5K on Sunday, August 21. Giving back to the community and raising money for charity is an integral part of the Safeway Classic that raises more than 1 million for local charities each year. As an avid runner himself, Neal has been interested in adding a running event to the tournament line up for years. This year he is making it a reality. All proceeds from Run the Links will benefit a cause he cares very deeply about: Albertina Kerr.
