The Big Backyard 5K, presented by Kaiser Permanente is a family-oriented and dog-friendly 5k run/walk benefiting King County Parks. On race day, Sunday June 2, expect to see over 1,200 runners, walkers and their furry friends stretching their legs around Marymoor Park.
The BBY 5K always has terrific merchandise, from our super-soft BBY5K T-shirt to the Harborstone Hoodie and referral mugs, participants get a great value for their participation.
To celebrate our 10th year, we will be adding a 10K distance to the popular 5K route. We will also be rewarding finishers with a commemorative medal, and increasing the amount of refreshments and giveaways.
BBY5K is a benefit for King County Parks, Tax ID# 91-6001327. With 28,000 acres of open space, 175 miles of regional trails, and 200 parks, King County Parks offers an amazing recreational experience for everyone in the region.
