2015 Overlake Medical Center Labor Day Half; Serves as NW USATF Half Championships

Half Marathon Run/Walk, 4-Mile Run/Walk, Kids’ Run

14LDHStartLineOffering one of the flattest half marathon courses in Western Washington with less than 130 feet of cumulative elevation gain/loss over the 13.1-mile course, runners come from all over to post their personal best! This race also serves as the Northwest USA Track & Field Half Marathon Championships, bringing in elite athletes from all over the country’s western most six states. Participants will enjoy the colorful fall leaves and scenery at the start/finish area within the city of Redmond, Washington and along the courses that wind along the Sammamish River Trail.

Event participants and supporters alike can then celebrate in the BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse Beer Garden, while enjoying delicious BBQ, live music from Hall Pass Band, awards and other finish line fun! Families can also enjoy a Kids Dash, free bouncy houses, and other family oriented entertainment!

COURSE:
Starting and finishing at King County’s Marymoor Park, the 2015 Overlake Medical Center Labor Day Half & 4-Mile race boasts one of the states fastest half marathons. Participants spend the first three miles of the race traversing the city streets of Redmond before continuing north along Willows road as participants run throughout the Sammamish Valley. When reaching the halfway point of the course runners are greeted with gorgeous views of the Sammamish River that cuts through the Sammamish Valley. Participants continue the race on the Sammamish River Trail for the next five miles, along the Sammamish River until reaching the City of Redmond a second time.
