Winter Predictor

5K, 10K, and 15K!

A unique run/walk event where a category of awards are based on participants finishing closest to their predicted time. To be eligible for prediction awards, participants cannot wear a watch or other timing device.

The top 25 individuals, in all distances, with finish times closest to their predicted times will receive awards. The overall male and female fastest runners and the closest male and female runners to their predicted times, in all distances, will receive a Champion Shirt. Times will be based on a chip start and chip finish. Those participants choosing not to be eligible for Prediction awards will be eligible for the traditional age-group awards. The top three in each age group will receive awards.

If a participant finishes their event in the exact time as they predicted, she or he will win a $100 cash prize. (There will only be one award - if more than one person finishes in their exact predicted time, the winner will be drawn from a hat.)
