The First Freeze

THE CHALLENGE

Conquer the infamous Pilot Butte with a twist: every lap must be faster than the one before it.

Push too hard at the beginning, and you'll find yourself unable to beat your time on subsequent laps—resulting in disqualification and a spot on the sidelines. Only those with ice in their veins will prevail. The road will be closed to cars but races are required to follow all rules of the road.

Bike: 6 laps of pure strategy

Team Bike: 6 laps with up to 6 racers

Run : 3 laps, getting harder

Team Run: 3 Laps with up to 3 racers

This is a bike or run event. You may choose which. (Each lap is 2.4 miles ~500 vert)
