Sun Mountain 50M/50K/25K

Located on the eastern, and sunny side of the North Cascades - on the edge of the Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness, above the Methow and Twisp River Valleys - these courses offer great mountain trail running early in the year. You can expect fields of wildflowers, beautiful, snow-capped peaks of the Cascades in the distance, and mostly gradual, smooth, runnable trails with moderate amounts of elevation gain.  New this year the races will be "point to point" style routes with a lakeside finish and post race pizza party at Big Twin Lake Resort Campground. All participants will be shuttled to the start from Big Twin. We highly recommend spending the whole weekend with us by reserving your RV, Tent or "vanlife" campsite at Big Twin! You'll be able to make your reservation for camping when you register for the race.These races take place on the ancestral lands of the sp̓aƛ̓mul̓əxʷəxʷ (Methow), Syilx (Okanagan), Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux) all of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation as well as the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
