Big River Race

Saturday, May 30th, 2026 for a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k & FREE Fun 1 Mile. Run along one of Eastern Washington's biggest landmarks, the Columbia River. Enjoy a scenic route on paved riverfront trail. This race offers you four different options; a distance for everyone in the family, group of friends or coworkers. The course will be flat & fast! Perfect for your first time to achieve one of these distances or set a new personal goal. The race will start & end at beautiful Chiawana Park (west end of the park) in Pasco, Washington. Chiawana is a Native word for “Big River”. The Columbia River has provided this region's culture and economy for thousands of years. It is the largest river in the Pacific Northwest. The river forms in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada and flows through Washington. This Big River irrigates more than 6,000,000 acres of agricultural land. Agriculture is huge part of our community and is possible because of this valuable water source.
