Mount Tabor Tar N Trail

The Mt. Tabor Tar ‘N’ Trail Races is a fundraising event supported by and benefitting the Friends of Mount Tabor Park. The 10k run, 5k run/walk and 5k kids races take place within the park winding the hilly trails and tarmac that circumnavigate this wonderful extinct forested volcano park. These challenging courses primarily follow a series of designated loops established within the park with the aid of course markings and occasional course volunteers providing guidance.

This event has the feel of a community cross country race and fun walk. There are many families that take on the course together and participants are encouraged to wear costumes, but there will also be a competitive field of fast runners in each event.
