Box Canyon Trail Races

Box Canyon 30K
The Box Canyon 30K is a scenic and tough loop through the high country of Telluride, Colorado. Runners will leave Telluride heading East towards Bridal Veil Falls. Ascending a rough double track runners will pass by the iconic Smuggler-Union Hydroelectric Plant and ascend into upper Bridal Veil Basin. Vast alpine meadows await runners as they move to the high point of the course on Wasatch Junction at 13,000ft. Looking into Upper Bear Creek runners will descend dreamy singletrack and making their way to Wasatch Connector trail for their final ascent to the top of Telluride Ski Resort. Runners will finish descending Telluride Ski Resort back into town. This is a high alpine mountain race with roughly 5,800 ft. of vertical gain on varied terrain, come prepared!
Box Canyon 10 Mile
The Box Canyon 10 Mile race is a stunning loop through the high country of Telluride, Colorado. Racers will ascend the deep canyon of Bear Creek, gaining elevation until treeline where they will ascend to the top of the Telluride Ski Resort. Massive views await runners with 360-degree sights deep into the San Juan Mountains. Runners will then descend along double track and singletrack through the ski resort finishing back in the town of Telluride. This 10 mile race with ~3,500 ft of total elevation gain showcases the best of Telluride!
