Last Chance Marathon and Half Marathon

Everyone deserves one last chance, and this could be yours—to run a half or full marathon this year. The Last Chance Marathon and Half Marathon is held on December 31, at Fairhaven Park in Bellingham, WA. The half marathon course is an out and back, and the full marathon course is the course run twice. The event starts at Fairhaven Park Pavilion and runs the Interurban trail out to Arroyo Park and Clayton Beach. This trail has spectacular views and very few hills. The majority of the course is covered with a canopy of trees which will deflect some of the sun, rain, or snow depending on the weather conditions. Runners should dress appropriately and anticipate cold weather.
