New this year! The Marathon Relay!
It’s time to grab your besties and sign up for the marathon relay! The relay is team division dividing the Marathon distance over five relay legs. The relay is an opportunity to run with friends and family, either competitively or just for the fun of it!
Groups of 2-5 individuals can put together a team and cover the marathon distance as a relay. Teams must have a minimum of two members and a maximum of five members. Each member must run one full leg, but any member can run up to three legs that must be run consecutively.
There are five relay legs of varying distances from 2 to 7.25 miles (distances are approximate), as follows:
Leg 1: 7.5 miles
Leg 2: 6.25 miles
Leg 3: 5 miles
Leg 4: 2 miles
Leg 5: 6 miles
Each team will receive the same bib number, and it doesn’t matter which team member wears which bib (though bibs are personalized by name for those who register before November 5). Bibs should be worn on the front and be clearly visible.
All races start and finish at the Port Orchard Waterfront Park and run along Beach Drive.
