Remote and rugged and perhaps the hardest race you’ll do. The Volcanic 50K feels more like a 50-miler and takes you all the way around Mt. St. Helens, an active volcano in Washington state. The 25K includes some of the 50K on the Loowit trail, but make a shorter loop that stays on the south side of the mountain.
