Vashon Island Ultramarathon & Trail Run

The Vashon Island Ultramarathon & Trail Run was born from the spirit and enthusiasm the island community has for outdoor recreation and exploration. While it began as a “wouldn’t it be cool if” idea, the Ultramarathon now in it’s fifth year has clearly found a home with Vashon’s running community. Over 45% of last years’ participants were from Vashon Island, as well as dozens of members of the community came out to volunteer and cheer on the runners.
