Trailblazer Triathlon, Duathlon, 5K

This sprint distance tri and du consist of a 350M swim (1 mi run for Du) followed by a 12.2 mile bike and a 2.9 mile run. Race is a mass start with Duathlon and 5 k starting at the same location and swim starting across Medical Lake. The swim is open water, point to point with athletes allowed to swim to the start or be transported to start. This race is great for first time athletes as well as seasoned veterans of the sport. Water temperatures at typically in the low to mid 60s by race day. 2 water stations are provided on the second run and during the 5 k but athletes are encouraged to prepare their own nutrition and hydration otherwise.
