Harvest Classic 5K/10K Walk/Run

The Harvest Classic in Longview is the oldest road race in Southwest Washington. It is fast, flat and scenic, and it helps feed the hungry in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties; proceeds go to Lower Columbia CAP’s HELP Warehouse that provides the food to local food banks. There are prizes for the top 3 overall men and women in the 5K and 10K and ribbons for age group winners. Businesses, clubs, organizations, church groups, even large families can take advantage of our “Community Challenge”” discounts and compete for team prizes for the most participants, largest donation to the HELP Warehouse and having the fastest four runners. High school cross country teams can also compete in a team competition in the 5K. For youth 9 and younger, there is a free 1/4 mile Pee Wee Run after which each pee wee gets a shirt and a prize.
