10th Anniversary of Anabelle’s Angel Glow 5K Run and Fun Walk

Anabelle’s Angel Glow event is an annual 5K run and 1-mile Fun Walk on October 6, 2023, at sunset(6:35 pm). Angel Glow is Bend’s only GLOW run/walk. Participants start at sunset and are dressed in their most vibrant neon colors donning glow sticks and flashing lights. As they progress through the course and the sun sets, the Old Mill District becomes aglow! The Angel Glow is more than a run or walk; it is a family event with bounce houses, face painting, and more that raises money for children who are in need of therapy services throughout Central Oregon.

Upon registration, you will automatically be registered in this year’s raffle drawing which includes some great prizes including a night’s stay at Sunriver Resort, lunch bags from PackIt, gift cards from local businesses, and much more! Prizes will be given to the fastest male and female timed adult, teen, tween, and child runners.

NEW THIS YEAR we are adding a stroller division! The fastest runner pushing a stroller will receive a prize and their special card will win a fantastic gift too! Many may not know, but Anabelle Wilson, the race’s namesake, passed away in May 2017. Because of her and the generosity of her family to pay it forward in her honor, we are still here today helping children in Central Oregon through the Anabelle Wilson Memorial Scholarship at Treehouse Therapies!

Immediately following the Run and Fun Walk we will be showing UNSEEN How we are Failing Parent Caregivers and Why it Matters. We promise your heart will be touched as you see a day in the life of a parent Caregiver of a complex child!
