Salem River 2 Ridge Relay Launches on September 17th

Looking for something new and exciting to do this fall?  Travel Salem in partnership with Breakaway Promotions is excited to announce the launch of the Salem River 2 Ridge Relay on September 17th, 2017.  This exciting multisport event will showcase the beauty of downtown Salem, Willamette River, Willamette Valley and Silver Falls State Park to participants from across the Northwest as well as the country.

Participants will paddle, bike and run their way through nearly 60 miles of the most beautiful scenery the Northwest has to offer. The event will start in downtown Salem and wind its way up to Silver Falls State Park.  Beautiful views, breathtaking scenery, and challenging courses will delight participants along the way!

In addition to showcasing the natural beauty and recreational opportunities the area has to offer the event will also focus on environmental stewardship and conservation with a number of speakers and educational programs to be delivered by the Salem Environmental Education Staff on Saturday September 16th at Riverfront park in Salem.
