RUNBOISE16 – FitOne: A Family-Friendly Fall Run in the City of Trees

BOISE, IDAHO – Plan a visit to Boise in September for the FitOne 5K, 10K and Half Marathon! FitOne takes place Saturday, Sept. 24 in the heart of the City of Trees.

FitOne offers something for the entire family with a 5K Family Run, Walk & Stroll, 10K and Half Marathon. All three distances are runner and walker friendly with social and competitive waves, and deliver picture postcard courses in the heart of the City of Trees.

Runners and walkers start in front of the steps of the State Capitol, pass by numerous Boise landmarks, along historic avenues and the Boise River Greenbelt, and finish in one of the nine City of Trees’ “Ribbon of Jewels” parks, Ann Morrison Park.

Participants receive a technical t-shirt, plus 10K and Half Marathon finishers receive a medal upon crossing the finish line. Stick around for the post-race treats in the Albertsons Finisher Pavilion, and then stroll downtown to the Capital City Public Market held every Saturday from April through December.
