Portland’s Spring Classic Duathlon is one of the largest duathlons in the U.S. and attracts top talent from across the Northwest for an early season test of fitness. The flat and fast 5K run, 15mi bike, 5k run course takes place on Marine drive and is closed to all but local traffic on race day.

For those of you who are planning on competing in June’s Blue Lake Triathlon, this event is definitely one you don’t want to miss. The Spring Classic Duathlon will encompass a majority of the Blue Lake Triathlon bike course, making it the perfect tune-up for one of the region’s largest triathlons.

Entry is open to both solo and team/relay competition. Entry fees are $80 for solo participants and $45 for relay members (per person) through Friday, March 25 and increase by $5 for day-of-race registration. For more information, or to register for this Northwest classic, visit
