Join Reed College 5K FUNd Run/Walk for Neighborhood Schools
RAISING MONEY FOR SOUTHEAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Portland, Ore (August 2, 2017)—Lace up your sneakers and join the annual Reed College 5K FUNd Run/Walk on Saturday, September 16, to support southeast Portland’s elementary schools. One-hundred percent of the registration fees go directly to Duniway, Grout, Lewis, Llewellyn, and Woodstock.
Fundraising is a vital component of any school’s budget. Last year’s event raised more than $40,000, helping more than 2,000 children.
“Organizing a FUNd Run/Walk for neighborhood schools is a great example of coming together as a community to support education,” said John Kroger, Reed College president.
