Bridge to Brews: Portland’s Only Running Event and Craft Beer Festival Returns to Waterfront Park

ParkPortland, Oregon March 14, 2016 – Bridge to Brews is one of the most unique events in Portland. The run-meets-craft-beer-festival returns to Waterfront Park on Sunday April 10th. Terrapin Events knows how to throw a party, and they definitely know how to organize a great race. It goes without saying there is certainly a lot to love about this one: a great run with amazing views that you can’t get anywhere else, a craft beer festival, live music, good food, and tons of amazing people.

Adding to the uniqueness, Bridge to Brews is the only run in town that crosses the Fremont Bridge, offering participants spectacular views of Portland, the Willamette river, and Mount Hood. There is also a half mile out-and-back kids’ run for the little runners in your family and a kids zone with Olive Root Beer and Dingo the Clown providing arts and crafts. There is truly something for everyone at this event.

After the race, runners celebrate with a craft beer festival at Waterfront Park, where beer, cider, wine, spirits, and other non-alcoholic options will be available. Enjoy tasty beverages from Lagunitas Brewing, Stormbreaker Brewing, Bridgeport Brewing Company, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, East Side Distilling, Migration Brewing, Brew Doctor Kombucha, Thomas and Sons Distillery and many more! Entrants receive a commemorative Bridge to Brews cup, commemorative t-shirt and ten drink coupons. Bridge to Brews souvenir medals––which also doubles as a bottle opener––are available for purchase.

Ask anyone who has been to a Terrapin race before, the post-race party is not to be missed. And Bridge to Brews is no exception! It’s a run that’s more than an average run, and it’s a craft beer festival that’s also more than beer festival. It’s a Terrapin event.
