Publishers that rely entirely on advertising face an uncertain future. Publishers (and event organizers) with the primary purpose of supporting live events have had it particularly rough these past couple years. With a modest contribution of $2/month you will help RaceCenter thrive, and ensure it remains accessible for everyone — helping both race participants and event organizers.

Click over to Patreon to support RaceCenter and it’s contributors. We have membership support levels for event participants, as well as Race Directors who post events on our calendar at no cost. Please consider contributing to keep this resource free.

Why should you pay?

Relying on advertising to keep small publishing projects alive is becoming increasingly difficult. Most advertising dollars are now spent on Google and Facebook. RaceCenter’s narrow focus on events in the Pacific Northwest, organized by small businesses, makes finding suitable advertisers more challenging.

As a paying RaceCenter reader, you help reduce that reliance on advertisers, and help us shift from a fully advertising supported project to one supported by it’s readers and race participants.

What do you get?

You will get the same great event calendar, newsletter, and editorial you’ve been getting for nearly two decades. But by being a paying supporter – you help ensure RaceCenter’s future.

Your support will allow us to pass that support on to our contributing writers and photographers and bring you relevant training and features for those in the PNW and surrounding states.

Any other perks?

For the most part, this model is based on the idea that our loyal users are willing to pay a small fee in order to keep RaceCenter fully accessible for everyone. We will not introduce a paywall on content or event listings.

If you have any questions, just send me an email. Thanks for even considering, we appreciate your support!
