Beaverton Half Marathon and 5K Moves to the Fall

The 2nd Annual Beaverton Half Marathon and 5K which begins and ends at Portland Running Company in Beaverton, OR, moves to a later fall slot in 2019. The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 22, a change from 2018’s earlier June date. With comfortable temperatures, September is Oregon’s prime racing season. Run through Beaverton’s beautiful neighborhoods experiencing amazing crowd support, continue into Old Town Beaverton, and then enter the Fanno Creek Trail system before finishing back at the Portland Running Company.

The Beaverton Half Marathon course is well-marked, well-supported, and an excellent Oregon option for conquering the challenge of completing a half marathon. The course is open to walkers and runners for four hours and the after party promises delicious food, a great venue, and the band, Hit Machine, who will be onsite to entertain participants and spectators.
