Life Time – The Healthy Way of Life Company today announced the winners of the 2013 Leadman Tri Bend, held on Saturday, September 21 in Bend, Oregon. Competing against a stellar field of world-class professionals on the event’s ultra-distance course, Ray Fiori and Shirley Yard won the men’s and women’s divisions. The race began at Cultus Lake in Central Oregon and athletes participated in either a 250K or 125K course, both finishing at the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood center.
“We applaud all the athletes who participated in this year’s event,” said Keith Hughes, race director. “Everyone pushed themselves and showed great endurance and athleticism. The course updates we made added to the experience for participants and we had very positive feedback from racers.”

The 125K course featured a 2.5K swim, 106K bike ride, and a 16.5K run. Relay teams of two or three people also raced both distances during the event.
