ABOUT THE EVENT
AA Sports is excited to bring the Tour de Crest event to the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival. The Pacific Crest brings many families to beautiful Sunriver & Central Oregon and our goal with the two new bike rides is to open up the opportunity for the non-triathletes in the family to ride on parts (Long Course Triathlon) or all (Olympic Triathlon) of the roads the triathletes themselves will compete on during the following days. These rides also open the opportunity for the whole family to participate together in the same event.

The roads used are very well-maintained with very little traffic. The routes chosen are also fair in that they do not include any ultra-steep grades and the scenery is fantastic. Make the Tour de Crest events part of your family getaway to enhance your enjoyment of the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival.

Both rides will start at the SHARC (the new Sunriver aquatic & recreation center), and the finish will be at the Official finish line at the Athlete Village. A bike holding area will be available at the finish line.

Tour packet pickup/registration will take place on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on tour morning, Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Packet pickup/registration location is at the SHARC.

RIDE DATE: Friday, June 22, 2012

LOCATION: Sunriver, Oregon (located 15 miles south of Bend, Oregon just off Hwy. 97 in Central Oregon, alt. 4,200 ft). Both rides will start & finish at the SHARC, the new aquatic & recreation center, just to the north of the Sunriver Village Mall (known as Athletes Village).

EVENTS: Tour de Crest 26-mile & 55-mile bike tours

START TIMES: Both rides will begin at 8:00am

REGISTRATION: Tour entry fee includes Pacific Crest Commemorative Tech Shirt, finisher medal, a weekend of live entertainment, plus lots of fun and camaraderie.

NOTE: Commemoritive Shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants only. Quantities and sizes might be limited after 6/1.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Mail-in entries must be postmarked 15 days before race day. Make checks payable to: Tour de Crest, and mail to:

CONFIRMATIONS: Confirmation cards will be mailed on June 15th to participants whose registrations have been received by 6/1. Registrations received after June 1 may not receive a confirmation card in the mail and are to refer to the on-line confirmation list. Pacific Crest handbooks will be available at packet pick up and at the Athlete Village during the course of the weekend.
