NOTE: WALKERS ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH THE MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON EVENTS. THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT FOR EITHER EVENT.

• 5K & 10K Run / Walks
• Kid's Dash (1-mile & 1/2-mile)

DATE: Saturday, June 27, 2009

LOCATION: Sunriver, Oregon (located 15 miles south of Bend, just off Hwy. 97 in Central Oregon (altitude 4,200 ft).

EVENTS: Marathon & Half Marathon (Run/Walk - both events)

START TIMES: Marathon - 7:30 a.m., Half Marathon 8:00 a.m.

START LOCATION: Runners & Walkers for both the Marathon and ½ Marathon will gather in the Sunriver Village Mall (Athlete Village, the official finish line) prior to the race. There will be music as well as water and Gatorade. Pre-race briefings will be given 20 minutes prior to the race starts and 5 minutes later all the athletes will move to the start line, as a group (start lines will be posted with signage on Thursday).

*Mail-in entries must be postmarked 15 days before race day. Entry Fee Includes: 100% cotton commemorative T-shirt, finisher medal, ChampionChip Timing, live entertainment throughtout the weekend, awards, plus lots of fun and camaraderie.

NOTE: T-shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants only. Quantities and sizes will be limited after 6/1.

LIVE RESULTS
AA sports has partnered with Online Training Log, Strands.com, to provide LIVE race results throughout the Pacific Crest Sports Festival. Results can be posted to the web in real-time, where your family and fans can view your progress during the race. [Read more]

Additionally, Strands will be providing digital race results for many events at the Festival. Stop by their booth and scan your chip or enter your bib number to receive your splits, finish time, and pace.

If you'd like to opt-in for Strands LIVE timing simply create an account on Strands.com, and e-mail Team Strands your First, Last, and username on Strands by 6/25.

Note: LIVE timing is only available for events with disposable chips.

PRE-REGISTRATION

PACKET PICKUP
Participants can register and/or pick up their race packets on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Athlete Village in Sunriver.

Day of Race Packet Pickup: Packets can also be picked up on the morning of the race starting at 6:00 a.m. at the Athlete Village.

TRAINING PROGRAM
Need help training? Fleet Feet Sports Bend is offering a training program for the Pacific Crest Half Marathon. This 12-week program begins April 5th and will have you ready to go on the big day. Click here for more info.

CONFIRMATIONS
Confirmation cards will be mailed on June 9th to those registrations have been received. Participant confirmations will also be posted on the www.racecenter.com website for all mail-in and online entries. Registrations received after May 31st may not receive a confirmation card in the mail and are to refer to the on-line confirmation list. Pacific Crest handbooks will be available at packet pick up and at the athlete village curring the course of the weekend.
