ABOUT THE EVENT: The 5K & 10K Run and Walks were added in 2003 to provide an opportunity for everyone in the family to have an event to participate in during the Pacific Crest Weekend. Over the years Pacific Crest has come to be known as the jewel of athletic events in the Northwest, and has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation. With an anticipated 4,000 + athletes, plus family and friends, which includes a Health & Fitness Expo, live entertainment, food booths, beer garden, athlete dinners and more. Competitive events include: Long Course Triathlon, Endurance Duathlon, Marathon, Half-Marathon, Olympic Distance Triathlon & Duathlon, Kid’s Splash Pedal-n-Dash, Kid's 1-mile & 1/2-Mile Dash, and 10K & 5K Run/Walks.

The Pacific Crest Weekend is an experience you won’t want to miss! Bring your family and enjoy this beautiful destination resort with activities including horseback riding, fishing, white water rafting, two golf courses, 26 tennis courts, 30+ miles of bike paths, swimming, wildlife, and more.

RACE DATE: Sunday, June 27, 2009

LOCATION: Sunriver, Oregon (located 15 miles south of Bend, Oregon just off Hwy. 97 in Central Oregon, alt. 4,200 ft).

EVENTS: 5K & 10K Run/Walk

START TIMES: 5K - 8:15 am, 10K - 8:30 am

REGISTRATION: Race fee includes commemorative 100% cotton T-shirt, finisher medal, Chip Timing, awards and prizes, live entertainment, plus lots of fun and camaraderie.

You can also register online or print a downloadable entry form - CLICK HERE. Registration will be available on race weekend at the Packet Pickup on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Sunday morning, the day-of-race, beginning at 6:30 a.m.

CONFIRMATIONS: Confirmation cards will be mailed on June 15th to those registrations have been received. Participant confirmations will also be posted on the www.racecenter.com website for all mail-in and online entries. Registrations received after May 31st may not receive a confirmation card in the mail and are to refer to the on-line confirmation list. Pacific Crest handbooks will be available at packet pick up and at the athlete village curring the course of the weekend.
