I noticed  the article about the Hagg Lake Triathlon coming up on its thirty year history.  I am a part of both ends of that history, the 1982 event, and yesterday&#039;s event.  Question: Am I the only one that did Hagg lake in 1982 and 2011?  

In 1982  I placed 58th overall; yesterday I won my age group (age 50) and placed 24th overall.  I found the race results from 1982, but it is just the first page.  With regard to the 1982 event, Dave Scott won, and as I remember, there were about 500 people in the event, the swim and run were longer at that time, and (if my memory serves me correctly) it was a mass swim start (!)

Just a little piece of triathlon nostalgia.
