Calendar Set for 2016 Triathlon Regional Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon today confirmed the events that will serve as the 2016 Regional Championships, providing top athletes an opportunity to qualify for the 2016 USA Triathlon Olympic-Distance National Championships set for Aug. 13 in Omaha, Nebraska. Competitors who compete at Regional Championships and finish in the top 33 percent or top five (whichever is greater) in their respective age groups automatically qualify for the 2016 USA Triathlon Olympic-Distance National Championships. Running USA Annual Half Marathon Report Shows Continued Growth of the 13.1-mile Distance

Courtesy Running USA Wire 25-03-12 – Running USA’s third annual Half-Marathon Report shows that the 13.1 mile distance had another year of impressive growth, but like U.S. marathons in 2011, the growth rate wasn’t as large as recent years.
