Olympic Tri - Looped ride over quiet country roads, flat to rolling hills. Head north out of Nolte State Park on Veazie Cumberland and Cumberland/Kanaskat Roads to the junction of Retreat Kanaskat and Kanaskat/Kangley Roads. Continue counterclockwise around the loop on Kanaskat/Kangley Rd, and SE 272nd St. There will be a 2.4-Mile out-and-back section on SE 272nd St to the west towards the city of Kent before completing the loop on Retreat Kanaskat Rd back to the junction. The course then heads back south to Nolte State Park.

Sprint Tri - Out and back on quiet county roads, flat to rolling hills. Begin by traveling north on Veazie Cumberland and Cumberland/Kanaskat Roads to the turn-around at the junction of Retreat Kanaskat and Kanaskat/Kangley Roads, then south back to Nolte State Park.

Run:
Olympic Tri - The flat & fast looped run course begins by exiting Nolte State Park and running along the wide shoulder south towards Enumclaw on Veazie/Cumberland Rd to a turn-around approximately 2.3 miles away. After re-entering Nolte State Park the course continues on a 1.4-mile beautiful nature trail that circles the lake and brings you back to the finish line.

Sprint Tri & Tri-iT- The flat & fast, two lap run course stays inside Nolte State Park and takes place on a beautiful nature trail that circles the Lake. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE TWO LOOPS AROUND THE LAKE FOR THE SPRINT AND TRI-IT)

SPECIAL NOTE TO OLYMPIC TRI/DU & HALF-MARATHON: There is a 1/4-mile section of the run course that is rough (pot-holes and gravel). We have spent many hours with the county and local authorities to try to come up with a solution (fix it, or different course). We have had no luck in acheving a solution, as the residence do not want the road fixed (it keeps the traffic slowed down), and there is no safe, logistical option for a new run course. We have talked with athletes that do the event, and the feed back is that they do not mind the small inconvenience in lew of cancelling the event. Additionally, we had some people in the Olympic Du miss a turn on the course in 2007. We will have better signage, and a race manager located that that location.

THE START
All participants must have their equipment situated in the transition zone by 8:30 a.m. on race day morning and be positioned at the race start down by the water by 8:45 a.m. for last minute instructions. The first swim wave will leave at 9:00 a.m. Duathletes will start in a time-trial format at approximaty 9:15 a.m.
