9th Annual Big Backyard 5K
Join friends, family and fellow outdoors enthusiasts in a fun 5K run/walk to support King County Parks – the Big Backyard 5K presented by Kaiser Permanente, June 3 at Marymoor Park.
The ninth-annual event starts at 9:00am. The flat and fast course follows the Marymoor Connector Trail and a portion of the East Lake Sammamish Trail. This family-friendly event is chip timed and welcomes strollers and leashed dogs.
After you tour the park, enjoy post race refreshments, and at 10:00am it’s time for the FREE Kids Dash and Awards Ceremony.
Register online at BBY5K.com. Standard registration is $35 (going up to $40 on race weekend). Youth registration (14 & under) is only $20.

- Course Record Bonus $100
- The top 3 teams receive awards based on the finish of your “Fastest 5”.
- Division awards go to the top 3 finishers in each 10-year age division.
A couple of lucky participants will win concert tickets to an upcoming Concert at Marymoor Park!
Funds raised help leverage King County taxpayers’ investment in parks, trails and open space by keeping these features open and safe for all to enjoy. The Big Backyard 5K promotes fitness and community involvement, and has raised more than $250,000 for King County Parks in the past eight years.
