Tribute to the Trails Calendar Project

November 3, 2015

In its eleventh year, the “Tribute to the Trails” Calendar Project was established as a fundraiser for the Washington Trails Association (WTA). WTA is a non-profit organization which creates, preserves, enhances and advocates for the trails we love to play on. With your support, ALL proceeds will be donated to WTA.

Our drawing of free race entries continues to grow with 45 entries this year! For each calendar you purchase, there is an entry form on the inside back cover to fill out and send in. The list includes:

For Miwok, you’ll still need to pay the entry fee, but if you entered the lottery and didn’t get selected, this could be your 2nd chance! Each race has their own individual restrictions/qualifications (RD’s will specify) and all prizes must be used during 2016. The drawing will be held on January 7, 2016, so be sure to buy your calendars and send in the entries to be eligible for the drawings!

In addition, there will be a quarterly drawing for a pair of Hoka shoes. However, you’ll have to earn them. Because the calendar benefits WTA, to enter you’ll have to send proof that you participated in a current WTA work party (or equivalent organization if you live out of state). See website for details.

The price of the calendar is $23 online* / $20 in-store and may be purchased from:

Everyone involved with this project does so on a voluntary basis so that we’re able to donate all proceeds to WTA. We credit the generous community support that we’ve received for our success and we’d like to thank Flora Inc/Udo’s Oil, Hoka, Cascade Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run, Destination Trail, Drymax Socks, Evergreen Trail Runs, Northwest Trail Runs, Rainshadow Running and White River 50M for sponsoring the calendar, the running stores for volunteering their time and support, the race directors/running clubs that contributed additional $$/race entries and the athletes and trails who made these images possible!

Thanks in advance for supporting our project and we’d love to hear what you think!
