Skirt Chaser 5k Race Series Expands to Vancouver, WA
From Press Release
Skirt Chaser 5k Race Series presented by Skirt Sports (www.skirtsports.com) expands to Vancouver on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Esther Short Park. For the benefit of The Arc of Clark County, the inaugural Vancouver event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the women’s start. Three minutes later, men are invited to “catch them if they can.” The top three finishers take home cash prizes, regardless of gender. The race finishes with a block party adjacent to the finish line, featuring live music and a happy hour atmosphere of food and drinks.
“This is a race unlike any other and we’re thrilled to bring it to Vancouver,” said Nicole DeBoom, Skirt Sports CEO and Founder. “The Skirt Chaser 5k Race Series is really a social fitness phenomenon, bringing both women and men together to celebrate fitness and socialize in an atmosphere that is welcoming, encouraging and fun.”
Race packages range from $35-$65 with the option to receive a Skirt Sports fitness skirt with the women’s standard package. Registration for the Skirt Chaser 5K can be found at www.skirtsports.com/skirtchaser5k/, along with details of pre-race and race day events. Entries are limited, so early registration is encouraged. Admission to the block party is included with each entry, and non-runners can join the block party for $15.
