Deschutes Brewery to Host Inaugural Twilight 5K in Bend, OR

The inaugural Deschutes Brewery Twilight 5K run/walk will take place on Thursday, August 19^th at 7PM. This will be Bend’s first mid-week race and will capitalize on the long days and warm temperatures of August. The course will be an all-pavement affair that takes you through two of the premier parks along the beautiful Deschutes River. The race starts and finishes at the Deschutes Brewery off of Shevlin Hixon Dr. in the Old Mill.

The Twilight 5k will be a great time and a unique event here in Bend, Oregon because after you get done putting the hurt on this course you’ll be treated to a beer garden featuring Deschutes Brewery’s Twilight Summer Ale, great post race food, and some music to shake your booty to if you have any energy left. The race will also kick off the Bend Brewfest.  Nothing like a little run to help earn those calories that those tasty beverages contain.
