Pacific Crest Ready to Roll for 2008

(11-5-2007) The popular Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival is slated for the weekend of June 27-29, 2008 and event organizer AA Sports, Ltd. expects another large field for next year’s edition. “We’re very excited to have our old bike course back after a year off due to construction,” remarks AA President Carol Atherton. Men’s U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials: Triumph and Tragedy

(11-3-07) In an amazing performance, California’s Ryan Hall pulled away from the competition at the 18-mile mark and let the rest of the field fight for the remaining two spots on the U.S. Men’s Olympic Marathon Team. Today’s Olympic Team Trials were held on a circuit course around New York City’s Central Park. Race Report: 2007 Portland Marathon

(10-8-07) This year’s 36th annual running of the Portland Marathon was another huge success with nearly 8,000 finishers in the full marathon. In his marathon debut Californian Carlos Siqueiros from San Jose nabbed the men’s title with a time of 2 hours, 25 minutes, 25 seconds averaging a 5:33 pace for the 26.2-mile distance.
